Dr Aaron Kramer, DO
Dr. Kramer is a board certified Psychiatrist who graduated summa cum laude while completing his undergraduate degree in Finance and later attended medical school at Midwestern University. Upon graduating from medical school, he completed a 4-year Psychiatric Residency at the University of Arizona Phoenix campus via Banner University Medical Center. Dr. Kramer is a former college and professional baseball player who competed as a pitcher for Arizona State University and the San Diego Padres organization. He works in the outpatient and inpatient settings and has a special interest in addiction medicine. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in a variety of outdoor activities.
Amanda Alcantar, Pa-C
Amanda Alcantar graduated top of her class at Arizona State University with a degree in Microbiology and emphasis in Human Nutrition. For two years she worked diligently to become a Physician Assistant by obtaining her Masters degree from Midwestern University in Glendale. Amanda decided to pursue the field of psychiatry as she understands the importance of taking care of ourselves and our mental health to improve our daily lives. She implements individualize psychiatric treatment with patient-centered care while continuously displaying compassion and empathy. When she is not helping others, she enjoys spending time with her family and hiking with her dog, Roxy the boxer
Jordan Jensen, Pa-C
Jordan Jensen graduated from Midwestern University in 2012 with a degree in Physician Assistant studies. Although she has worked in multiple specialties, psychiatry is where she has found the opportunity to help individuals optimize their lives by tailoring a treatment plan specific to their needs. She keeps in mind each individual's goals and together they determine which options would be best in a judgement free space.
Taylor English, Pa-C
Taylor English is a board-certified Physician Assistant who is looking forward to providing guidance towards optimal well-being for you or your family member. With a natural desire to provide care to others, she earned two undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Science and Psychology from Northern Arizona University in preparation for PA school. Her passion for Psychiatry solidified throughout her patient interactions while she obtained her Master's degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Her holistic approach aims to use the lowest therapeutic dose of medication necessary while emphasizing the significance of implementing daily routine, proper diet/exercise and forms of talk therapy into one's mental health regimen. Inclusivity of all cultural, religious, gender identity, and familial backgrounds, she takes these into consideration when working with you to form a treatment plan. Her interests outside of mental health include weightlifting, paddleboarding, yoga/meditation practice, live music and exploring Arizona.
Thomas Nelson
Thomas Nelson graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Public Health with an emphasis in health sciences. He attended A.T. Still University to obtain his Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Upon graduation he has worked in both hospital and outpatient settings. He initially received training at Mayo Clinic Arizona working in the Anesthesia Department/Pain Medicine Division. While working in pain medicine he understood the importance and need for helping those who struggle with mental and behavioral health and made the change to working in Psychiatry. Thomas Nelson is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants. He has lived most of his life in Arizona. He enjoys the outdoors, sports, and above all spending time with his family.
